About Jared

Welcome To My Life

I’m a recent Psychology graduate from Iowa State University, born and rooted in the heart of Iowa. My background in psychology has shaped the way I move through the world — with curiosity, empathy, and a genuine appreciation for the complexity of people and the lives they lead. I understand that life is rarely black and white, and I think that’s what makes it so worth exploring.

When I’m not pursuing my professional interests, you’ll likely find me outside. Hiking a trail, out on the water kayaking, or picking up speed on my bike — being in nature is where I feel most like myself. And almost always by my side is Freya, my Staffordshire Terrier, who makes every adventure a little more worthwhile.

I’ve also caught the travel bug in a big way. Experiencing new places, cultures, and perspectives feeds something in me that I can’t quite explain — only that I always come back home a little more open than when I left.

If there’s one thing I hope comes through here, it’s that I’m approachable and real. I’m someone who’s sat with struggle, embraced nuance, and come out the other side with more understanding rather than less. I don’t have all the answers, and I’m not trying to — I’m just genuinely interested in people, in growth, and in living a life that feels honest.
